Patrons in grades 6-12 (including those going into 6th grade in the 2019/2020 school year, and those who have recently graduated) are invited to our first teens only escape room:
The Hubble has been hacked! NASA lost control of the famed space telescope through some insidious computer piracy, and the perpetrator has hidden the means to regain control in a small box, along with a series of clues to open the multiple locks. Can your group of young astronomers figure out the codes, unlock the box, and help NASA utilize Hubble again to explore the galaxies?
You'll have 45 minutes to try to solve the puzzles and help NASA gain control of the Hubble again. Reservations are being accepted on the hour from 4-7 pm (with the last group finishing by 8 pm). Sign up individually or with a group of friends! Reservations will be accepted at the library in person, by phone, or via this Facebook event! We'll try to keep it around 6-8 people per hour for increased enjoyment! We hope you'll join us for our first ever Library: After Hours event!
