Bridges, Iowa's ebook, audiobook, and video streaming consortium, has over 100,000 materials available, including magazines, fiction and non fiction, picture books, graphic novels, and more. Click on the logo below to navigate to Bridges, where you'll need to choose the Columbus Junction Public Library and enter your library card. Bridges can also be accessed via the Libby mobile app. Click on the Libby app icon below to navigate to the page with more information on how to download and access via the mobile app.
Library cards, within our system, expire after one year. If you are having trouble getting logged in to Bridges when you hadn't been having any difficulties before, please call the library to ensure your card has been renewed. Library staff can also help troubleshoot via the phone as well!

Biblioboard, in addition to being the library's digitized historical collection, offers a variety of indie author books! Independently published books from across Iowa as well as vetted, Library Journal certified indie books from around the country are included as well. Check out your new favorite author before they hit it big!
Click on the icon below to navigate to Biblioboard. At the top/middle of the screen, it may show Biblioboard OpenAccess; these are items available to anyone to view. To navigate specifically to CJPL, click the three lines on the top left and allow your device to search by location. CJPL should then pop up for you to choose and begin reading/viewing! Biblioboard can also be accessed on mobile devices by downloading and logging into the Biblioboard app.
Tumblebooks is a database of around 1,000 children's titles, including picture books, nonfiction, and graphic novels. Many are animated and read to children, highlighting the words as they read. This is perfect for the earliest readers through 6th grade. A library card number is all that's needed to begin reading on Tumblebooks! Access Tumblebooks on your mobile device by downloading and logging into the Tumblebook Library by choosing public library and entering your library card number!
