Use a Computer

The library has public computers with Internet access. This describes what we have and how to use them.

Public ComputersComputers

The Columbus Junction Public Library has 10 computers for public use. We will soon be adding 2 more! In order to use one of our computers, check in at the front desk and sign your name on the sign in sheet. You will be given an instruction card and assigned to an open computer. The instruction card will give you the user name  and ask that you log off and return the direction card to the desk as you leave. Computer time will be limited to a half hour if others are waiting and all computers are in use. Those working on home work assignment will be allowed to continue their work. The computer use policy is available at the circulation desk.

These computers have Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Internet access. The Library also has wireless capability for use with your lap top.
