ILS/Lockers
Our new software, Insignia, has an app for easy use by patrons. You can easily see what items you have checked out, renew, reserve/request items, and more! To the left is the logo for the app, as when you type in "ILS" or "ILS Insignia" in your search bar, it may not always be the top choice.
You'll choose "Columbus Junction Public Library" and your 4 digit library card number to access your account!
COMING SUMMER 2024!
We are VERY excited to announce that we'll be installing a smart locker system in the front of the City Hall/Library building this spring/early summer!
What does that mean for patrons? You can reserve items from the library, send things to our email to print, ask for interlibrary loans to be placed in the lockers, and pick up at your convenience, even when we're not open!
Library staff will place your items in a smart locker; you'll receive a text with instructions and notification that your items are in the locker. When you arrive, you'll press "Patron" on the screen, enter your 4 digit library card number, and the locker will pop open so you can retrieve your items! When you're done, you close the locker and leave! It's that easy!
We will do our best to honor all requests received during our open hours, but to ensure we're able to get them into the lockers, we ask that all requests are received at least 30 minutes prior to closing, or they may be processed the next business day.
