Welcome to the Columbus Junction Public Library!

The Columbus Junction Public Library, along with other local libraries including Washington, Kalona, Lone Tree, and Wellman, have completed a digitization project for all local newspapers. This searchable collection can be found at: http://seiowa.advantage-preservation.com

Many thanks to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, the Brinton Trust, and the Ardith Ostrem Memorial for making this project possible. A more permanent page will be developed on our website, but we were too excited to wait to share this news and have patrons begin to start utilizing this wonderful resource!

Thanks to the Friends of the Columbus Junction Public Library, the library currently has 2 passes to the Putnam Museum for check out. Please see our Services Page - Museum Passes for all information regarding check out periods, availability, and late fees. Passes are for up to 5 general admissions to the Putnam Museum, and available for any cardholder over the age of 18 in good standing with the library (no unpaid fees/no overdue items older than 3 months), and check out period is one week. A late fee of $5 per day will be incurred beyond the initial seven day check out period, capping at $50/10 days.
