Welcome to the Columbus Junction Public Library!

With the Governor's latest closure order on Monday, April 6, the library will be closed to the public until at least May 1. With continued guidance from the Governor's office, CDC, and other organizations, this may be extended should social distancing requirements remain strict. The library wishes to reopen as quickly as possible and will do so once it is safe to do so.

Until that time, we ask that you not return library materials in book drops, due to the potentially high volume of returns. Prior to closure, the library exhausted all disinfectants and therefore cannot sanitize items upon their return. Rather than purchasing more products, the library staff made the decision to leave those needed disinfectants for essential workers/workplaces. Upon returning to the library, all materials will be sanitized before they're made available to the public again.

Thank you for your understanding, and please reach out with any questions: mandy.grimm@columbusjct.lib.ia.us or message the library via Facebook.
